I am the second youngest of eleven children. I left the house when I was 17 to join the U.S. Air Force. Following that, I started at Utah Valley University and did a Costuming Internship at Walt Disney World with the Disney College Program. While trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, I taught English as a Foreign Language to students in Japan, China, and South Korea over video conferencing software. I fell in love with teaching and found that I loved working with elementary students. As I worked towards my B.S. in Elementary Education at UVU, I volunteered at a number of schools within Utah Valley. After graduation, I taught students with special needs at a private school. I am excited to be a Mentoring Teacher here with the Franklin Foxes. I currently live in Provo with my wonderful wife, Jessica, and our son, Sam. Some of my interests include watching movies and Japanese animation with my wife, gaming, and reading.
