I am the second youngest of eleven children. I left the house when I was 17 to join the U.S. Air Force. Following that, I started at Utah Valley University and did a Costuming Internship at Walt Disney World with the Disney College Program. While trying to figure what I wanted to be when I grew up, I taught English as a Foreign Language to students in Japan, China, and South Korea over video conferencing software. I fell in love with teaching and found that I loved working with elementary students. As I worked towards my B.S. in Elementary Education at UVU, I volunteered at a number of schools within Utah Valley. After graduation, I taught students with special needs at a private school. I am excited to be a Mentoring Teacher here with the Franklin Foxes.
I currently live in Orem with my wonderful wife Jessica and our two cats. Some of my interests include watching movies and Japanese animation with my wife, gaming, and reading. If you wish to buy me a Steak and Lobster dinner, hold the lobster – I’m allergic. Or better yet, buy me sushi sans shrimp (also allergic).
