Biography

I grew up in the south of England and was diagnosed early on with dyslexia. The school system I was required to attend had a rigid structure that did not facilitate my growth and learning. My interest in education has been fueled by my own struggles as a child. Despite these obstacles I went on to get an Associates in Information Technology, a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in psychology, and a Masters in social work. I have two young children and currently reside in Provo.  I became interested in Franklin Discovery because of their approach to meet children at their level. I served as the initial facility officer for the school during the planning year. I toured many charter schools to assist Franklin Discovery in making effective and efficient building design choices.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social work.  Small business owner.
