Julie Bagley

Mentoring Teacher

Hello! I am Julie (Mrs. Bagley) and I have been teaching here at Franklin since its opening. I teach 2nd grade and enjoy this grade so much. The kids are all wonderful and unique, and make me laugh every day. My love of learning began in elementary school has continued throughout my life. I had an awesome 5th grade teacher who inspired me to be a teacher one day. I grew up in California and moved to Utah in 2003 to go to BYU. While there, I studied Physical Education/Health and Coaching. I taught PE for many years before I ended up here at Franklin. I am now working on my Elementary Education license. It has been nice to do something new, and I really love working more closely with my students. I get excited to teach reading and math and watching the children learn and grow from year to year!

While I am not working, I am a mother to two wonderful children who also attend Franklin with me. The fact that I can bring them here is one of the many reasons I love Franklin so much! My husband and I love escaping on the weekends to our family cabin, hiking, playing board games, listening to audio books, and watching movies together. I also play softball and volleyball and enjoy running. I look forward to meeting you and am very excited to have a wonderful school year!
